Weeeell, I checked my mail yesterday, and I randomly got mailed a full scholarship to go to a summer school at CCAD in Ohio. Which is cool. I didn't apply to go to it, but they saw my portfolio at National Portfolio Day in LA, and saw my figure drawings when they visited my highschool.
I'm probably going to go to it, because I was thinking about this summer and how much I'm going to miss CSSSA, and so it'll be interesting to experience another summer school (nothing will ever compare to CSSSA though, ever). Plus, I reeeeally need to work on figure drawing, and I can hardly find any classes for that here. So it'll be good to stay creative this summer!
I've been feeling super artistically energetic lately, which has been great. And I just got a new sketchbook. My goal is to finish this one by the time june rolls around so I can start a new one for summer vacation. If I reach my goal, that'll make 5 finished this school year. I have a nice long weekend to relax and do some art this weekend.
